Big 4 Point Weekend For The Cents..
The Erin Outlaws were in Seaforth for a snowy Sunday afternoon action-packed Sr AA hockey game in the OEHL.  The Cents continued their winning ways in this high-scoring tilt that ended 8-2 and featured a rare event: TWO short-handed goals on the same penalty against two different Erin goalies.

It was a game for notable stats. Not only are the Centenaires in #1 spot in the standings after 11 games with an 8-2 record but Captain Reuben Smith became the Sr AA Seaforth Centenaires' highest point leader of all time.  In his 8th season with the Cents, Smith has now amassed 153 regular-season points and 26 playoff points in 6 playoff appearances so far with C4th.   Reuben picked up 2 assists in Game 11 vs the Outlaws on the Cents  4th and 7th goal of the day.   Those weren't the only highlights of the game! New addition Camden Daigle #17 was flying with a hat-trick and two helpers for 5 points! One of those assists was on the game-winning goal by #27 Sheldon Pryce, who also had a multi-point outing with 2 goals.   Seaforth was up 2-0 after the first period and scored another 4 unanswered goals in the 2nd before Erin found the back of the net at 5:06 of the 2nd after giving up back-to-back shorthanded goals (SHG) first with #31 William Salnek in net for Erin before being replaced by #1 Connor Toogood.   The first SHG for the Cents was from #9 Kyle Stanbury, assisted by #16 Jamie Huber with 7:45 remaining in the 2nd period. At 6:08, it was #14 Carter Collinson's turn (unassisted) for the second SHG on the same penalty kill against Toogood.  Collinson opened the scoring for Seaforth in the 1st with assists from Huber and Daigle.   It was #22 Nick Giamou of Erin who scored both goals for the Outlaws.   Exciting hockey for the slightly smaller crowd who braved the elements to cheer on their hometown team. Hopefully the entire Erin Outlaws crew had a safe ride back home.   Next up for Seaforth: Home game on Friday, December 6 at 8:30 pm vs the Durham Thundercats. Reminder that's an hour later than usual for a night game (and harkens back to the original Jr D Cents in the 1970s and 80s with those Friday night 8:30 starts).   Looking ahead in the calendar, don't forget the annual HAM SLAM game on Saturday, Dec 21 at 7:30 pm at the Seaforth arena against the visiting Tavistock Royals!!   Great hockey holiday fun!   #letsroll   #GoCents
