On Saturday, November 15th The OHA's Western Junior C and Georgian Bay Mid-Ontario Junior C leagues played their annual Prospects and All-Star games. The Western league came away with victories in both games. The Western Prospects won 5 - 4 in a shootout while the Western All Stars won 7 - 4.
The Prospects Team (consisting of player born in 1997 and 1998) included Seaforth Stars Alumni Jake Finlayson, Jordan Pepper, Wil Marcy, and Liam Melady. The Stars alum made a significant contribution in the win. Pepper scored the game’s first goal. Melady scored during the shootout as did Finlayson. Finlayson's goal was the game winner. Following the game Marcy was named as the Western Prospects' game MVP.
Fellow Stars alum Holdyn Lansink played for the Western All-Stars and made a large contribution to their win picking up three assists
