Join us Saturday Night in Seaforth for the first home game of the 2021-22 SR AA Men's Hockey Season!
In early March 2020, the Seaforth Centenaires had just come off a hard fought 6 game series loss, and the focus was a summer off and back at a chance for redemption in the fall. Then the world changed and the 2020-2021 season was cancelled.
The wait ended up being a longer than anyone could have guessed. It has been more than a year and half since that early spring, but that wait is finally over.
The Seaforth Centenaires are set to play their first regular season game since January 2020.
Twelve players on the Cents roster from 2020 are still with the team and they will now form the veteran core that will lead an exciting team heading into the 2021-22 season
The Goalies
Alex Hutcheson's story is one of steadiness in the
crease and in the room. The Centenaires veteran has evolved into one of the team's most trusted players and calming voices. With him is Evan Morrison. The 21 year old goaltending rookie looks to expand upon his OHL and GOJHL successes.
Defencemen
Seaforth has four veteran returning defenseman in Reuben Smith, Danny Bryan, Braydon Blight and James Toye. Their combined games and presence will anchor the Centenaires defense.
Wyatt Carey will bring a strong presence to the ice in his third season with the Cents
New to the lineup on defense is Carter Collinson and Calvin Thomson. Collinson is a former standout junior C player who will suit up for his first Sr game against Saugeen Winter Hawks. Thomson is a Sr AA hockey veteran and a brings a strong presence to the Cents D corps
This group is a blend of youthful excitement and veteran savvy.
The Forwards
St Mary’s Brady Wiffen returns to the Cents and brings an electric offensive force that has become a potent threat each time he touches the ice. Alongside him is the crafty veteran Cal Penny, long time Cent Chad Brullotte who are both returning for the 2021-22 season.
The Cents also have returning Seaforth natives Liam Melady and Holdyn Lansink. Both were in the process of learning as rookies in 2019-20 and will now be relied on for big minutes. Lansink is a skilled former pick of the Erie Otters and former Listowel Cyclones captain, while Melady brings grit, speed and an accurate shot.
Sr Hockey rookies are abundant this season in the Centenaires line up. Seaforth own Jake Finlayson joins the team after his junior hockey career with Mitchell Hawks. Jarret Bogden, former Bonnyville Pontiac stand out Luke Israel. Mike Siddall joins the Cents after a very successful CIS run with the Waterloo Warriors, Blake Pickering joins from the Mitchell Hawks and Andrew Barton solidify the Cents forward goal scoring corp after returning from his NCAA hockey career.
The Bench
Returning behind the bench will be Chris Reeves, Tom Turner, Andrew Van Vliet and Ashely Campbell. This group has found ways to push each other and form trusted dependence on each other to build a strong team.
A new season jammed pack with excitement and keen hunger to work towards the ultimate goal of a championship.

There is to be NO ENTRANCE through any doors other than the front Admission door. Those doing so WILL be asked to leave the arena.
